You can tell a lot about the quality of one's faith by the quality of those they associate with.

Is it so important to christians to be able to force us all to look at their religious doctrine that they are willing to climb inbetween the political sheets with cross burning, lynching white supremisists? It's not like anyone is looking to abolish the 10 commandments! We would just rather they stay in a
CHURCH where they belong rather than in a secular, public building where they have no place!
I have nothing against anyone worshipping any god they want to. I actually encourage spirituality. But I also encourage everyone to do it in private. Keep your relationship with your god between your self and your god. Or in your church community. And if you want to wallpaper your home and your church with the 10 commandements, more power to you. If you want to build a 60 foot repica of Noah's ark in your front yard, huzzah for you. If you want to put a flashing neon sign on top of your house of worship quoting the sermon on the mount, GREAT! I don't even have a problem if you want to rent a billboard on I-95 saying Read Your Bible. But secular, public, government buildings are not the proper forum for religious doctrine of
ANY kind.
PERIOD!!!!!Why is this concept so difficult to grasp?

I don't usually do quizzes on this blog because I try to keep it moderately substantive and relavent.
But, (you knew there was going to be a but there, right?) I saw this one and thought "Oooooooo! It just looks too fun to pass up." Well, much to my chagrin it didn't turn out as well as I had hoped and I must hang my head in shame. Joel, you are not allowed to mock me at this point. ;oD
